Rocky Gerung Becomes a Speaker at the General Stadium of FISIP UMJ Students

 Every time before an election, there are always several groups that try to divide people's voices. The provocation came from a situation that was almost cracking. This was conveyed by political observer  when he was a speaker at the General Stadium and the Institutional Grand Inauguration  , at the Kasman Singodimedjo Auditorium, Monday (28/08/2023).

“When a rift occurs, people can be provoked with just one small movement. The provocation machine can be through anything, one of which is social media," said Rocky. He further explained that provocation is not only to divide, but also to rebuild unity.

Rocky also emphasized that the youth movement will determine Indonesia's political character in the future. " If you want to be a leader , do something based on your capacity, and make your seniors your head," he exclaimed.  

On the sidelines of the event, the Head of BEM FISIP UMJ, Wildan Muttaqin, revealed that this was the first institutional momentum for FISIP UMJ in the new era to present Rocky Gerung, a well-known critical political observer, as a resource person.

"We have invited a political observer as a guest speaker and hope that this general stadium will become our legacy in provoking students, that the student movement will never die out," said Wildan.

On the same occasion, the grand inauguration of the FISIP UMJ student institution was also held by Deputy Dean III Dr. False. Harmonis, M.Sc., and attended by the Dean of FISIP UMJ Prof. Dr. Evi Satispi, M.Sc., and institutional students of FISIP UMJ.
