UMJ Deputy Chancellor Becomes Speaker at Darunnajah Academic Workshop

 The challenges facing universities today are quite difficult. Starting from demands for superior quality, to demands for readiness to follow various rapid changes. Therefore, collaboration can be the key for a university to survive and compete with other universities.

This was stated by  Academic Workshop which was held at the Ibn Rusyd Hall  , Ulujami, South Jakarta, on Saturday (9/9/2023). 

At the presentation with the theme "The Relevance of Islamic Boarding School-based Universities in the Era of Society 5.0 : Looking for the distinction and ideal design of Darunnajah University", Vice Rector IV UMJ, who is also an alumni of Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School, gave several suggestions regarding Darunnajah University (UDN). Septa is of the view that UDN needs to have characteristics that differentiate itself from other Islamic universities. He proposed that the UDN Higher Education Tridharma could be supplemented with a fourth dharma, namely Islamic boarding school.

Furthermore, the legal expert who often acts as a resource on various television stations also suggested that UDN be branded as an ' entrepreneur university ', considering that this campus has an entrepreneurship study program.

Meanwhile, another speaker, Prof. Dr. M. Arief Mufraini, Lc., M.Si., lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Jakarta, also expressed the importance of synergy and collaboration at Darunnajah University with various other institutions at home and abroad.

The workshop, which was attended by Darunnajah alumni, was attended by the President of Darunnajah University, Dr. KH. Sofwan Manaf, M.Si and KH. Hadiyanto Arif, SH, M.Bs., and Chancellor of Darunnajah University Dr. Much Hasan Darojat.

"The Darunnajah leadership appreciates the presence of Darunnajah academics to share and provide scientific contributions at the higher education management level, and hopes that this workshop can be continued in various other workshops for business people, politicians, writers and others," said Deputy Chancellor IV of Darunnajah University, Dr. . Muhammad Irfanudin Kurniawan.
