“Every time I come to campus, I always provide financial assistance in the form of scholarships. Today there is a scholarship for UMJ students amounting to 300 million rupiah. These funds were collected from deductions from the salaries of 2000 members of the Council (Legislative) which were then donated to education and health. "Hopefully this scholarship can be useful for students," said Zulkifli.

The minister, who has a background as a successful entrepreneur, then shared his experiences during his studies which were also filled with entrepreneurship. According to him, the status of being a student cannot prevent someone from becoming an entrepreneur. In fact, nowadays it is very easy and capable for students to become entrepreneurs with the help of information technology.

“UMJ is one of the best campuses in Indonesia. You must be grateful to be able to study at UMJ. You can prove your gratitude by studying hard. Determine what you want on this campus. If so, pursue that choice," was his advice to new students.

Zulkifli further revealed that in 2045 Indonesia will experience a demographic bonus. All countries in the world have predicted that Indonesia will become the country with the 5th strongest economy in the world. For this reason, the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia invites all UMJ students to study seriously.

“Indonesia will progress because of young people like you. Competence moves very quickly, so be a productive student. "If you are slow, you will be left behind," he added.
