On this occasion, new students were introduced to the organizations at UMJ, especially the autonomous Muhammadiyah organization. UMJ has three Ortoms, namely Tapak Suci which is a Muhammadiyah martial art, Hizbul Wathan the Muhammadiyah scouting movement, and the Muhammadiyah Student Association (IMM) which operates in the fields of student affairs, religion and society.

The event began with a general stadium with the theme Golden Indonesian Generation 2045 which was delivered by the Secretary General  (PAN) Mohammad Eddy Dwiyanto Soeparno, SH., MH. “It's still a long way off, but everything must start now. "2045 is the benchmark for 100 years of Indonesia becoming an independent nation," concluded Eddy. According to him, there will be several interesting trends in 2045, including population democracy, world urbanization, technology and climate change.

Furthermore, Deputy Chancellor IV UMJ, Dr. Septa Candra, SH., MH., officially opened the Ta'aruf Period of the Ortom Muhammadiyah Organization. In his speech, Septa advised all new students to take part in autonomous organizations in Muhammadiyah. “These autonomous organizations are organizations that are given their own autonomy. "You can join this organization, the important thing is that the main task of studying is not neglected, organizational success and study success," emphasized Septa.

The Ta'aruf period was also enlivened by the performance of holy tapak art and hizbul wathon performed by UMJ students. The varied arts that were demonstrated made the new students look enthusiastic and amazed.
